Cooking Organic Brown Rice on the Stovetop
For stovetop cooking, follow these simple steps:
Using a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water and 1 cup of rice to a boil
If desired, add salt and butter according to your taste preference
Stir the rice, then cover the saucepan with a tight-fitting lid and reduce the heat to simmer. Allow the rice to cook for approximately 40 minutes
Once the cooking time is complete, remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit undisturbed for 5 minutes.
Fluff the rice with a fork and enjoy!

Cooking Organic Brown Rice in an *Aroma Rice Cooker
For those of you who prefer the convenience of an aroma rice cooker, check out these instructions:
Use the measuring cup provided to measure the desired amount of rice. One cup refers to one full, level cup.
Add the appropriate amount of water to the inner pot, using either the measuring cup provided or the measurement lines inside the pot. For each cup of rice, add an additional ¼ cup of water. Smooth over the top of the rice with the rice paddle to ensure even cooking.
Place the inner pot in the rice cooker, close the lid securely, and plug the power cord into a wall outlet. The cooker will indicate the "Off" light and show two dashes on the screen.
Press the "Brown Rice" button to start the cooking process. The cooker will automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode once the rice is cooked.
Fluff with a fork and enjoy!
